Built by the Normans in 1096 Norwich cathedral was constructed out of flint and
mortar and then finished with creamy coloured limestone transported from Caen in
Normandy. The cathedral is set in beautiful grounds with it's own herb garden
and a maze. The cathedral is open daily to visitors.
The Lanes are a series of cobbled medieval streets situated in Norwich’s

Constructed by order of William the Conqueror nearly 900 years ago Norwich
castle was originally built as a motte and bailey castle. Today the castle
houses a museum and art gallery and is one of the city's most famous landmarks.
