Mundesley has a sheltered beach with lots of golden sand exposed at low tide. The beach is backed by low grassy cliffs and there are brightly painted beach huts along the beach front. At low tide there are rock pools to explore and sometimes fossils washed up by the waves. It's a great beach for families and is also popular for sea fishing.
If you get bored with the beach there are plenty of coastal walks and the pretty village of Mundesley has an adventure golf course, shops and cafés.
There is a life guard on duty during the summer months and also a beach cafe and toilets. Along the sea front there is an amusement arcade, souvenier shop and places to eat and drink. Above the cliffs you can explore Mundesley's beautiful cliff top gardens.
There is a ramp leading down to the beach.
